TAIPEI (Taiwan News)—  Yang Lung-Hsiang(楊隆翔), representing Taoyuan City, broke Chen Chieh’s(陳傑) winning streak in the Men’s 400m in the National Games held in Yilan CIty this week.

He clocked in his new personal best of 46.58 seconds. This is his second time in this year in which he broke his personal record of 46.89 seconds which was set in the National High School Athletic Games two years ago.

It has always been Chen taking the gold medal for the previous biannual National Games. Chen has also clocked his personal best timing of 46.35 seconds in the National Games held in 2015.

Yang participated in the 2017 Summer Universiade, in both the 400m and 1600m relay. He failed to proceed on to the semi-finals for the individual event. Also, the 1600m relay team was disqualified as Yang stepped on the line at the relay changeover zone.
