China to reinterred ROC soldiers killed in Second Sino-Japanese War

Taipei, April 4 (CNA) Seventy-seven years after laying down their lives for their country, 486 Republic of China soldiers will be reburied in a new graveyard with a monument to mark their ultimate sacrifice in the Second Sino-Japanese War.

According to Chinese mass media reports, the soldiers, aged between 16 and 40, were killed in a battle in Linyi, Shandong Province in March, 1938, when the Japanese Imperial Army was advancing from there to Jiangshu Province.     [FULL  STORY]
