Taipei, Nov. 15 (CNA) The annual fashion trade show Taipei IN Style (TIS) will open Thursday at Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, featuring displays, seminars and competitions.

Organized by the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF), the four-day fashion fair aims to promote the country’s fashion industry and boost exchanges between local fashion talent and global professionals, the federation’s Secretary-General Huang Wei-chi (黃偉基) said Wednesday.

Promoted as an all-in-one trade fair, the event comprises house shows, seminars and business matching meetings, Huang said.

He said there will 208 booths for the 145 participating local and foreign exhibitors, while 14 fashion shows, four seminars and some design competitions will be held during the fair.    [FULL  STORY]
