Taiwan is the first country in Asia to pass same-sex marriage legislation. Lawmakers approved the bill on May 17th, paving the way for legal marriages to take place as early as May 24, 2019. In today’s program, we tell you five things you need to know to understand the bill’s dramatic route to passage.
