Taipei, Oct. 22 (CNA) Several Taiwanese airline companies announced Sunday that
flights to and from Japan originally scheduled for that day have been canceled or rescheduled as Typhoon Lan moves toward the Kanto region of the country.
EVA Airways, one of Taiwan’s largest airlines, said that flights BR179 and BR180 between Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport and Osaka have been canceled and BR190 flight from Taipei Songshan Airport to Haneda will be postponed until 7a.m. Monday, according to information posted on the airline’s website.
Meanwhile, Tigerair Taiwan has canceled IT212 and IT213 from Taoyuan to Kansai, Osaka; IT214 and IT215 between Taoyuan and Okayama; as well as IT216 and IT217 between Taoyuan and Haneda.
Tigerair’s IT230 between Taoyuan and Naha, Okinawa, has also been pushed back to 6:40 p.m. Sunday, while the return of IT231 from Naha to Taoyuan will be delayed until 10 p.m. Sunday. [FULL STORY]
