Foreign ministry preparing for bilateral meetings during WHA

The foreign ministry is preparing for meetings with groups from a number of


countries on the sidelines of the World Health Assembly.

This year’s World Health Assembly (WHA) will open in Geneva in less than two weeks. After attending the WHA as an observer for eight years, Taiwan will likely be ineligible to attend this year’s event. Taiwan has not received an invitation due to Beijing’s boycott of the Tsai Ing-wen administration, and the registration deadline for this year’s WHA is already past.
