Taipei, March 5 (CNA) Formosa Petrochemical Corp. (台塑石化), a private gasoline supplier in Taiwan, said Saturday that it has decided to raise its diesel and gasoline prices by NT$0.5 (US$0.015) per liter next week after a rebound in international crude oil prices.
It will be the third consecutive week it has raised fuel prices, effective from 1 a.m. Monday, as the global oil market has been riding the wave of the upturn.
After the latest price adjustments, prices at Formosa Petrochemical gas stations islandwide will rise to NT$17.4 per liter for super diesel.
Prices for gasoline will jump to NT$20.3 per liter for 92 octane unleaded, NT$21.8 per liter for 95 unleaded and NT$24.1 per liter for 98 unleaded, the company said. [FULL STORY]
