Taipei, May 8 (CNA) Huang Shih-feng (黃士峰) won a bronze medal of javelin throw, with 83.82 meters, in the Golden Grand Prix 2016 Kawasaki in Japan on Sunday.

Jakub Vadlejch of Czech won the gold, with 86.76 meters, and Ryohei Arai of Japan took the silver, with 84.41 meters.

Huang’s performance has broken Taiwan’s national record of 82.11 meters, which he made in 2013, and secured him a place in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.     [FULL  STORY]
