IBM to establish client experience center in Taipei this year

Taipei, March 6 (CNA) Multinational information technology company IBM plans to set up a client

experience center in Taipei sometime this year to help its clients and partners keep abreast of new technology developments, its executives in Taiwan said Wednesday.

Hsu Wen-hui (徐文暉), IBM Taiwan Corp. chief technology officer, said the Taipei center will be IBM’s fifth in the region, after the ones in Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Lisa Kao (高璐華), IBM Taiwan general manager, said the centers allow clients to take advantage of services such as artificial intelligence (AI), cognitive computing and agile software development.

She said 2019 will be a year of integration for IBM as it hopes to combine the needs of users of technology and players in the industry to help Taiwanese industries by launching an innovative journey into AI, cloud and digital transformation.    [FULL  STORY]
