Jeremy Lin says many factors to consider when choosing next team

Taipei, June 10 (CNA) NBA player Jeremy Lin (林書豪), who is back on the free-agent market after 2016061000131declining his player option with the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday, said in Taipei on Friday that he will consider many factors when choosing his next team.

“Everyone knows that I’m a free agent. The most important thing for me is that I want to be happy,” said Lin in Mandarin in an interview with local media after arriving in Taiwan on Friday as part of his annual Asia tour.

Among the factors that will determine the best fit for him will be his new team’s style of play, whether his coach likes him and whether his teammates are “humble,” said Lin, the first NBA player of Taiwanese descent.

“And of course, it will depend on whether I am a starter and how much playing time I get,” the 27-year-old point guard said. “I will take all that into consideration.”     [FULL  STORY]
