Swaziland, arrived in Taiwan on Wednesday to celebrate the 50th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two countries, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

During his one-week stay in Taiwan, King Mswati III will meet with President Tsai Ing-wen (蔡英文) and witness the signing of an economic agreement between the two countries, the ministry said in a press release.

The agreement will be signed by Taiwan’s Minister of Economic Affairs Shen Jong-chin (沈榮津) and eSwatini Minister of Commerce & Trade Jabulani Mabuza, MOFA said.

King Mswati III is also scheduled to meet with representatives of Taiwan enterprises to discuss investment in his country and will be the guest of honor at a banquet hosted by Foreign Minister Joseph Wu (吳釗燮), the ministry said.    [FULL  STORY]
