Taipei–Taiwan’s top-ranked male tennis player Lu Yen-hsun has qualified for the upcoming Rio Olympic Games, the Chinese Taipei Tennis Association said Saturday.

The association said in a statement that it had received confirmation from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) that Lu has qualified for the men’s singles tennis tournament at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

If Lu plays in Rio in August, it will be his fourth consecutive appearance in the Olympic tennis event.     [FULL  STORY]
