Chin Hu Police Station of Kinmen County Police Bureau said on Wednesday that the owner of a well-known “five-foot way western-style house” in Jinsha Township surnamed Huang told police that after he came back from a medical trip to Taiwan in early September, he found that the side door of his house was opened, two drawers inside the house had been ransacked, a safe had been pried open, and household items were scattered on the ground. Huang said he found scores of antiques, including contracts, old books, incense burners, bronze mirrors, Silver Dragon coins, “Yuan big head” coins, kaoliang liquor and western liquor had been stolen. Police said Huang reported the theft immediately.
