New auto tech unveiled ahead of Taipei trade show

The Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium (TARC) has previewed some of their latest technologies set to be unveiled on April 11 at the 2018 Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show.

The Taiwan Automotive Research Consortium, an alliance of research institutions in the automotive industry, held a press conference on Tuesday to announce nine key technologies. They include a driving simulation platform, pedestrian heat signature sensor, applications for driver safety, an aluminum alloy battery shell, shared fast charging stations for electric vehicles, and others.     [FULL  STORY]
