Members of the CTBC Charity Foundation ran a stretch from Hualien County’s Guangfu Township to Taitung’s Feng-tian Elementary School.

Upon their arrival they were cheered on by members of the school’s baseball team.

Foundation chairman Jeffrey Koo Jr. who played baseball with the students the day before, said that “Home Run Taiwan” differed from other running events because it invited people to “run for the sake of love.”

He was joined in Taitung by the Foundation’s CEO Roger Kao, CTBC Bank’s Mainland Business Office chief Tony Yang and four other members of the bank’s Hong Kong branch.    [FULL  STORY]
