Promising Taiwanese tennis player qualifies for Challenger event

Michael Look of Australia on Monday to qualify for the main draw of an ATP Challenger event in Australia.

The 17-year-old Taiwanese, who is the top ranked junior in the world but is turning pro this year, cruised past Look 6-1, 6-4 in the US$81,240 2019 City of Playford Tennis International.

He will play another Australian opponent, Aleksandar Vukic, in the opening round of the main singles draw on Tuesday.

Tseng has had a stellar year in 2018, winning back-to-back junior Grand Slam singles titles at the French Open and Wimbledon and reaching the junior finals of the Australian Open and junior semifinals of the US Open, results that led him to turn pro.    [FULL  STORY]
