maybe a meal box are standard, but the organizer of a road race to be held in Yilan County in May is going to award every finisher with a whole roasted chicken.
This will be the second year the Genesis Social Welfare Foundation (GSWF), a charity organization providing nation-wide care homes for patients in a persistent vegetative state (PVS), to host the Run For Dream and give the sumptuous prize to every finisher.

The event, which is divided into the three distance divisions of 22.3km, 10.3km, and 2.8km, will take place from Longtan Lake in Jiaosi Township on the morning of May 21.
Regardless of distance divisions, all finishers will be awarded with a roasted chicken, and the proceeds from the registration fees will be used to fund the foundation’s Luodong care home, the foundation said, adding that last year the event attracted participation from 4,300 runners. [FULL STORY]
