Taipei, Feb. 11 (CNA) Roads surrounding the Zhongxiao Bridge in Taipei will be reopened to traffic at 8 a.m. on Feb. 13 following the completion of demolition work on an overpass to the bridge, the Taipei City government announced Thursday.
The city government had originally planned to close off the roads until Feb. 15 but decided to reopen them two days earlier because the demolition work has moved ahead of schedule, according to Deputy Taipei Mayor Charles Lin (林欽榮).
Bus services affected by the demolition work will also resume operations on Feb. 13, the city’s Public Transportation Office said. [FULL STORY]
