A day before Teachers’ Day, Taichung high school students surprised their instructors with special gifts

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — Students at Taichung Municipal Chungming Senior High
School made a variety of creative thank you cards and gifts on the eve of teachers’ day, surprising and greatly moving their instructors.
Yesterday, on the eve of Teacher’s Day in Taiwan, which is held every Sept. 28, the high school’s administrators and students collaborated on holding a special gathering of all faculty and students under the guise of a routine meeting. It was during this assembly that the students surprised their teachers with a deluge of gifts, causing many instructors to be visibly moved.
Some stuck cards to cookies or inside pomelos, while others made cookie backpacks and strung cards together to form necklaces to show their appreciation to their teachers. The instructors were then asked to carry the cookie backpacks and card necklaces. [FULL STORY]
