Taiwan’s trade promotion organization TAITRA hopes the country will have
more than 1,000 halal-certified establishments by the end of the year. That’s the word from TAITRA head Walter Yeh on Tuesday.
Yeh told RTI that there are now more than 850 establishments with halal certification after the Taiwan Halal Center was inaugurated in April last year.
