Volendam, the Netherlands, Feb. 21 (CNA) Taiwan finished with three gold 
and four silver medals at the 2016 World Indoor Tug-of-War Championships in the Netherlands that concluded on Sunday.
On the final day of the four-day competition, Taiwan beat China to win the gold medal in the 600-kg mixed event, after clinching the title in the 560-kg men’s junior event by defeating the Netherlands.
Taiwan also won two silver medals, one in the 600-kg men’s senior event and the other in the 500-kg women’s senior event.
The four medals on Sunday brought Taiwan’s total medal count to seven for the championships. [FULL STORY]
