Taipei, May 5 (CNA) Taiwanese badminton players are eyeing victories in both the
finals of the men’s doubles and mixed doubles at the New Zealand Open on Sunday.
Wang Chi-lin (王齊麟) and Chen Hung-ling (陳宏麟) have advanced to the men’s doubles final after they defeated Tan Qiang (譚強) and He Jiting (何濟庭) from China 21-14, 21-13 in the semifinals on Saturday.
The Taiwanese duo will face Berry Angriawan and Hardianto Hardianto from Indonesia in the final.
Wang will also partner with Lee Chia-hsin (李佳馨) in the mixed doubles’ final where the Taiwanese pair will take on Seo Seung Jae and Chae Yujung from South Korea.
