Taiwan fuel prices to drop to 7-year low

Taipei, Dec. 27 (CNA) Two major fuel providers announced price drops of 201512270025t0001NT$0.2 per liter Sunday, effective the following day, which will see prices at the pump cut to their lowest levels in seven years.

From Monday, state-owned CPC Corp., Taiwan (中油) said it will be selling its 92-octane, 95-octane and 98-octane unleaded gasoline for NT$19.9, NT$21.4 and NT$23.4 per liter, respectively, and its super diesel for NT$17.4 a liter.

It will be the first time in 12 years that prices for 92-octane unleaded have dropped below NT$20 per liter.   [FULL  STORY]
