Taipei, July 16 (CNA) Taiwan defeated Indonesia 21-0 in 3 innings to clench the Asia-Pacific Zone championship of the PONY Baseball League’s Bronco division in Fukuoka, Japan, on Thursday.

Meanwhile, also in Fukuoka, Taiwan’s Pony division (under age 14) team swept the tournament defeating Japan 12-3, Hong Kong 12-3, Japan HOST 10-0, to win the Asia-Pacific Zone championship and qualified for the Pony division of the PONY World Series.     [FULL  STORY]
