Taipei, Sept. 5 (CNA) The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said Saturday that temperatures in Taiwan could drop from Monday due to an approaching weather front, sending highs in northern Taiwan below 30 degrees Celsius.
The front might move close to Taiwan on Sunday, bringing showers to Yilan County in the northeast and the west of Taiwan proper, the bureau said.
There could be persistent rain on Monday and Tuesday across Taiwan, with highs in northern parts of the country to drop by some five degrees to 29 degrees, forecasters said. [FULL STORY]
