Taiwan will respect outcome of US election: Premier

Premier Su Tseng-chang says that Taiwan will respect the outcome of the US presidential election, regardless of who wins. Su was speaking Friday, as several US battleground states continued to tally ballots. 

Su said that Taiwan has good relations with both main US political parties. He also said that President Tsai Ing-wen’s period in office has seen Taiwan-US relations greatly improve. He said the US has shown more support for Taiwan than before, and the US Congress has reaffirmed acts that are friendly to Taiwan.     [FULL  STORY]
