Singapore, Oct. 14 (CNA) Taiwan came away from the Asian Rowing Junior
Championships in Singapore this year with one bronze and two silver medals, the team coach said Saturday.
Liu Chia-chin (劉家蓁) won Taiwan’s first silver medal in this year’s competition, finishing second in the Junior Women’s Single Sculls event, said the team coach Lin Hsin-ying (林欣穎).
The second silver medal was won by the team competing in the Junior Women’s Quadruple Sculls event, namely Chen Chao-jung (陳昭容), Wan Shih-wei (萬士緯), Lin Chia-yi (林家伊) and Yang Ching-hsuan (楊靚瑄), the coach said.
Lin Chia-yi and Wan Shih-wei, who also competed in the women’s double sculls race, took a bronze medal, the coach said. [FULL STORY]
