Taiwanese baseball official reelected to head Asian federation

president of Chinese Taipei Baseball Association, was reelected to head the Asian organization for another four-year term at the BFA Congress and Executive Committee Meeting held on July 4 in Yilan, northeastern Taiwan.

Yoshinobu Suzuki of Japan, Yang Hae-young of South Korea and Chen Xu of China were elected as BFA vice presidents at the same meeting.

Speaking after being reelected, Peng said the BFA will continue to be a reliable working partner of the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).

“We will continue to share the WBSC’s responsibility for organizing international baseball tournaments and help to promote baseball among children. That in turn will allow the younger generation to learn more about the sport, increase their love of baseball and make them long-term baseball fans,” Peng said.    [FULL  STORY]
