Taipei, April 12 (CNA) Taiwanese billiard player Lin Yuan-chun (林沅君) defeated Filipina
Lin Yuan-chun (林沅君).
Rubilen Amit 11-9 to win the 2015 Amway eSpring International 9-ball Championship in Taipei Sunday.
It was Lin’s second win in eight years, following her victory in 2008.
Earlier in the day, Lin overcame Kelly Fisher of Great Britain to earn a berth in the semifinal, the only Taiwanese player to do so.
She then encountered a strong contender — China’s Liu Yuchen who put up a fight until the last game, conceding defeat to the Taiwanese 9-8. [FULL STORY]
