Taipei, Aug. 21 (CNA)Taiwan’s Tai Tzu-ying (戴資穎) improved her Badminton World
Federation (BWF) rankings in women’s singles after her strong performance at the 2015 BWF World Championships on Aug. 10-16 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Tai, who was fourth entering the World Championships, reached the quarterfinals before losing to her opponent Lindaweni Fanetri of Indonesia 21-14, 20-22, 12-21.
Despite suffering a defeat to the world No. 24, Tai still moved up one notch in the women’s single rankings to third, reaching her career high. [FULL STORY]
