Taipei, June 19 (CNA) Taiwan’s table tennis players Chuang Chih-yuan (莊智淵) and Huang 
Sheng-sheng (黃聖盛) were defeated by Ma Long (馬龍) and Xu Xin (許昕) from mainland China 4-11, 7-11, and 4-11 Sunday in the final of the men’s doubles of the 2016 ITTF-World Tour Laox Japan Open.
Chuang, placed 7th in the world in the latest International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) rankings, and Huang had to settle for a silver medal.
Chuang and Huang, who teamed up earlier this year, grabbed the men’s doubles title at the 2016 ITTF World Tour Hungary Open on Jan. 25.
The 2016 ITTF-World Tour Laox Japan Open was being held from June 15-19 in Tokyo, Japan. [FULL STORY]
