Taipei, Sept. 11 (CNA) Taiwanese golfer Teresa Lu (盧曉晴) carded a 5-under 67 on Friday to
finish in a tie for second with three other Japanese golfers after two rounds of the Japan LPGA Championship Konica Minolta Cup in Nagasaki.
Lu, currently ranked second on the Japan women’s tour money list, made up for a rocky opening round 73 that included six bogeys with a bogey-free showing on Friday that gave her a two-round total of 4-under 140.
She was tied with Erina Hara, Saki Nagamine and Miki Sakai, two shots behind the leader Yumiko Yoshida of Japan.
Only 18 golfers in the 129-player field were under par after the first two rounds of the 140 million yen (NT$37.8 million) tournament, one of the three majors of the LPGA of Japan Tour. [FULL STORY]
