While the roster for the weightlifting team has yet to be finalized, the star lifters are certainties for the games and have entered the final stage of their training.

The main focus is on Kuo Hsing-chun, the female weightlifter who won bronze at the 2016 Olympics. Kuo said Friday that her goal is to win gold at the Asian Games and break her personal record.
