Taipei, Aug. 16 (CNA) Taiwan’s Teresa Lu (盧曉晴) fired a five-under 67 to win the NEC
Karuizawa72 Golf Tournament 2015 in Japan with a three- round total of 14-under 202 Sunday.
The 27-year-old scored birdies on the 1st, 3rd and 5th holes before carding two more birdies on the back nine, without hitting any bogies throughout.
In the first round, which took place Aug. 14, Lu led the pack by firing eight birdies and no bogies for a total of 64. After the second round, she was ranked 3rd with a total of 135, marred by her second-day card of 71 with three birdies and two bogies.
Sunday’s win marked Lu’s third Japan LPGA Tour win this year, following her victories at the Resort Trust Ladies in May and the Daikin Orchid Ladies Golf Tournament in March. [FULL STORY][
