Taipei, Aug. 27 (CNA) A tourist bus carrying 18 people rolled over in southern Taiwan’s
Pingtung County Thursday, leaving a 58-year-old Chinese woman dead and 15 other injured, the Tourism Bureau said.
A total of 16 Chinese, a Taiwanese tour guide and a Taiwanese bus driver were on the bus when the accident took place at around 3 p.m., according to Chieh Li Travel Service Co. (捷利旅行社), which is hosting the tour group from the coastal province of Fujian in southeastern China.
Except for two Chinese tourists, all other people onboard were injured, both the bureau and the police confirmed. [FULL STORY]
