Taipei, July 26 (CNA) Tsao Chin-hui (曹錦輝), the first Taiwanese pitcher to play in the major
league in the United States, was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City after a poor performance in a relief call by the Los Angeles Dodgers in their game against the New York Mets in New York Saturday.
In a Twitter post after a 15-2 loss to the Mets, the Dodgers said Tsao and Josh Ravion would be optioned.
Called in at the bottom of the fifth inning, Tsao allowed six runs on seven hits and a walk while only recording two outs.
On the season, he has an ERA of 10.29 in five games, allowing nine runs on 15 hits, including three home runs, in seven innings, with seven strikeouts and three walks. [FULL STORY]
