Taiwan’s team for this year’s Asian Games have vowed to make their country proud in

With 100 days to go until the start of the 2018 Asian Games in Indonesia, Taiwan’s team held a press conference at the national training center in Kaohsiung on Thursday. Lin Ching-yi, a bronze medalist in volleyball at the 2006 Games, passed a ball to the current captain of the women’s team, Chang Chiu-yun. Meanwhile, Yang Meng-hua, a track and field silver medalist at the 2010 Games, literally and metaphorically passed the baton to short-distance runner Yang Chun-han, who will be taking the track this time around.

Outside, the archery team gave a display of their skills. Archer Lei Chien-ying said every member of their team will be aiming for their best performance in Jakarta, with individual competitors setting their sights on top-three finishes, and final positions for the team competitions.    [FULL  STORY]
