The popularity of mixed martial arts (MMA) has exploded across the world and Taiwan. Known as 6773183Taiwan’s first professional female MMA fighter, Jenny Huang has recently taken home another victory after defeating Indian mixed martial artist Jeet Toshi in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and kept her undefeated streak intact at One Championship (ONE) in Asia.

In a match held on September 2, the Taiwanese atomweight entered Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, dressed as the legendary Chun-li from Capcom’s Street Fighter series of games, which whipped the crowd into a frenzy.

In this fight, Huang, 25, a Judo black belt and BJJ blue belt, won against Toshi handily by triangle choke at 3:21 of the first around.

Toshi, a seven-time kickboxing champion, maintained the offensive early with a few of her patented strikes. Huang eventually manoeuvred Toshi against the cage and dumped her to the mat. After a couple of beautiful transitions, Huang ended up in side control and sneakily worked the beginnings of an arm triangle.     [FULL  STORY]
