Taipei, Nov. 20 (CNA) China has expressed willingness to take part in the Summer Universiade Taipei
2017, Yang Ching-tang (楊景棠), a spokesman for the 2017 Universiade, said Sunday.
A total of 105 countries had expressed the intention to participate in the sports event as of the previous day, the deadline for responses to a survey, according to the Summer Universiade Taipei 2017 Organizing Committee.
The committee opened the intent to participate survey on Aug. 19 and received positive responses from 105 countries, Yang said.
According to past experience, countries that actually participated in the event usually outnumbered countries that have responded to such surveys, Yang aid.2016/11/20
