Accompanied by Premier Simon Chang (張善政), Ma arrived at the memorial
ceremony site around 10 a.m., where he paid tribute to the deceased, greeting their relatives and expressing condolences to them.
Earlier that day, accompanied by Legislative Speaker Su Jia-chyuan (蘇嘉全), Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te (賴清德) and Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu (陳菊), Tsai also paid a visit to Tainan for the memorial ceremony.
After expressing her sincere sympathies to those killed in the earthquake and their bereaved families at the ceremony, Tsai also posted a condolence message on her Facebook page, saying she wishes the deceased can rest in peace and their relatives can overcome their grief. [FULL STORY]
