The NBA’s Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal served as the one-day manager
at a branch of the sub-sandwich chain Subway in Taipei on Thursday as part of his five-day visit to Taiwan.
Beal shared his favorite sub and even made one during the event.
He was invited to attend the 2015 NBA Youth Madness final games on Aug. 28-30 in Taipei. In addition to the competitions, he will also coach Taiwan’s young players in a basketball camp.
Beal, 6’5″ , was the third pick in the first round of 2012 NBA Draft. The 22-year-old guard played 63 games with Wizards last season, averaging 15.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game.
