Taipei, May 3 (CNA) More than 4,500 runners from 38 countries took part in the annual Taipei 101 Run Up Sunday, with Poland’s Piotr Lobodzinsky and Australian Suzy Walsham winning in the men’s and women’s elite group categories.
Lobodzinsky and Walsham won with time of 11:8 and 13:16, respectively. They were each awarded NT$38,000 (US$1,236) in prize money.
Among the local runners, Kuo chun-ku (郭俊谷) and Chiu Li-ching (邱麗卿) won the men’s and women’s top titles, with times of 12:53 and 19:39, respectively, earning each of them also NT$38,000. [FULL STORY]
