PC, server demand in Russia rebounding, say Taiwan makers

Russia-based Internet service providers, along with growing demand for hardware used in data centers, have resumed placement of orders with Taiwan-based PC and server vendors/makers, according to these vendors/makers.

The Russia market has turned stagnant since the US and main European countries imposed economic sanctions against Russia over Ukraine issues in 2014. As a result, Taiwan-based vendors/makers of PCs, servers and other type of IT hardware have strictly controlled inventory levels in the Russia market to minimize negative impact, the sources indicated.     [FULL  STORY]
