to share the driver experience with other government departments.

The vehicle’s fuel cell can generate electricity by reacting with hydrogen and oxygen. The only emission that the vehicle leaves is water, making the ultimate environmentally friendly vehicle. Japan is currently planning to replace all shuttle vehicles of its Olympic stadiums with oxygen fuel cell vehicles by the 2020 Tokyo Games.

Taiwan’s representative in Japan, Frank Hsieh, remarked on the purchase on Thursday. He said Japanese government’s subsidies meant the vehicle cost almost the same as a petrol-powered vehicle. Hsieh said he plans to share the driving experience with other government departments in the future.    [FULL  STORY]
