Taipei, Nov. 20 (CNA) Taiwanese tennis player Chang Kai-chen (張凱貞) lost to Russian players both in
the finals of singles and doubles events at the OEC Taipei WTA Challenger that concluded on Sunday.
Chang was beaten by sixth seed Evgeniya Rodina 4-6, 3-6, in the singles, her second runner-up finish since 2012.
Chang tied with Rodina 3-3 before conceding the first set 4-6 and losing the second 3-6.
Chang then returned to the court alongside her compatriot Chuang Chia-jung (莊佳容), where they faced Natela Dzalamidze and Veronika Kudermetova in the doubles final of the tournament, which carries a total purse of US$125,000. [FULL STORY]
