the women’s 10-meter air rifle event at the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) World Cup Rifle/Pistol in Germany on Thursday, a first for Taiwan at the world cup.

Lin finished with a total of 250.3 points, beating seven other competitors in the final elimination round, including Wu Mingyang of China and Rikke Maeng Ibsen of Denmark, who received the silver and bronze medals.

This was Lin’s latest success following her gold medal in the 10m air rifle category at this year’s National Intercollegiate Athletic Games in Taiwan, held in late April through early May, according to Chinese Taipei Shooting Association (CTSA) President Steven Chen (陳士魁).    [FULL  STORY]
