Taiwan ties for third in LPGA’s UL International Crown

Taipei, July 25 (CNA) Taiwan finished in a tie for third place along with England in the 2016 UL International Crown won by the United States in Chicago on Sunday.

A total of eight countries represented by four players each participated in the biennial women’s golf team event that started on July 21.

Taiwan’s team, consisting of Teresa Lu (盧曉晴), Candie Kung (龔怡萍), Cheng Ssu-chia (程思嘉) and Yani Tseng (曾雅妮), finished the tournament with 11 points, two behind the United States and one behind runner-up South Korea.

Two points were awarded for each match won and a point was given for matches that ended in ties.     [FULL  STORY]
