Taipei, Sept. 20 (CNA) Taiwan has so far won three gold medals at the Tug of War World
Championships, which is being held in Cape Town, South Africa, until Saturday.
The Tug of War World Championships 2018 consist of two events — Outdoor Club Championships and World Championships, both of which are taking place at the city’s Camps Bay High School.
National Nantou Senior High School team, which competed in the club championship event, took the first gold for Taiwan by beating host country South Africa in the junior girls’ 480-kilogram class tournament Wednesday morning.
Taiwan took its second gold medal in the junior mixed 560-kg class tournament the same day. [FULL STORY]
