Los Angeles, July 11 (CNA) Tsao Chin-hui (曹錦輝), the first Taiwanese pitcher to play
in the major leagues in the United States, helped the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 3-2 Friday in his first MLB appearance after an eight-year hiatus.
Tsao, who came on as relief pitcher in the seventh inning, managed to prevent the Brewers from winning more points as the Dodgers were behind 0-2.
The Dodgers then rallied to take a 3-2 lead in the bottom half of the inning.
The win was Tsao’s fifth in his career and first in more than a decade. [FULL STORY]
